Birthday's Kinda Suck.
Yes, I've reached the stage where I no longer get excited about my birthday at all. I'm not saying I had a bad birthday, it was nice but you know, I'm not particularly fussed about getting any older. I didn't even have any cake. Well, there was one there but I didn't eat any. Also, I can never think of what I want. I have most things I want. I guess I'm crap at being materialistic. The only thing I ever want is to go to gigs...
Which brings us onto Enter Shikari. Yes I was more excited about that. I am going to write a review but not on this blog, on The Other Blog...
And to conclude, I have no idea what I just typed up because I feel like crap and I want to sleep but I feel too ill to sleep so I'm at that in-betweeny stage of being half awake.

Attacked By Tarmac.
I am aware that I have some rather unnecessary fears but tarmac is most definitely not one of them.
Yes, I am talking about road works. Those dragged-out-for-days, take up lots of space, the council doing a good deed thing. The stuff that they only really do if a road has got into the stage when it's full of holes.
Today, the council decided to sort out the one-way road that goes down the side of the park. I was only reminded of this when I saw a man using one of those noisy machines to blow leaves all over the place when he was actually trying to put them in a pile. Personally, I think it could be a lot more interesting looking if they let the leaves mix in with the tarmac when making a new road but that's just my opinion.
Anyway, on my way home from school I completely forgot that they'd laid down new tarmac to replace the old bumpy one. So I turned the corner and the smell of it pretty much literally hit me in the face. Also, about twenty metres down the road I realised I had to cross over as the path stops on the side I was walking on.
What to do? I was pretty convinced that if the tarmac was still wet they wouldn't let people walk or drive down the road but it did not look healthy and it was sort of overflowing like they'd put too much down. I spent about a minute debating whether to step onto the road or not and that was after I'd seen two cars drive safely down it.
Finally, I took a step, all the while thinking to myself "I'm about to be swallowed up into a hot pit of burning tarmac to disappear forever... or at least I'll get my foot stuck in it." But alas, it had dried.
So I crossed the road.
And that's the end of my story.

Darn Those Meaty Crisps!
Today I had a revelation. It's something that's bothered me for a while though and I only just figured out why.
You know those meat flavoured crisps? Roast Chicken, Smoky Bacon and... the other ones. Well they don't actually taste of what they're meant to, do they? In fact, they just taste of... erm... stuff. I don't even know what they taste of but it definitely isn't chicken!
I had wondered why I gave up eating nearly all flavoured crisps except for ready salted. I mean, I still eat Monster Munch and Frazzles but that doesn't count because they taste good anyway.
