A bloody 6ft tall overgrown hedge taking up most of the path! I mean, freaking heck, there's having a hedge and then there's having a jungle by the side of your front lawn. It was a bloody beast!
If I'm rather ridiculously going for a late night walk I don't want to be attacked by a giant box of green leaves. It was like a wall of branches. I didn't know what was hiding on the other side. Anything could have been behind that leafy wall! Not to mention the fact that there were probably billions of tarantulas lurking in it's depths waiting for me to trip on a twig and be consumed by the hedge where they could devour me! [I do tend to trip on twigs].
Anyway, I might just go and take some shears to that thing. Chop it down I say! It's a danger to the community! Hedges. Always getting in the way...
